In 2023, David Wilcox will run for Helen Plum Library Board of Trustees.
With over twenty years in the public sector, and experience as both a freelance editor and online bookstore owner, David brings a plethora of experience and knowledge to the role of Trustee. As the library starts its new chapter with a brand new, state-of-the-art building, David will work to ensure it places patrons’ needs first.
David is the founder of the York Township Green party in DuPage County and a returning adult student at the University of the People majoring in Business Administration, with a concentration on sustainable business practices.
York Township does not have any candidates at this time but endorses Anna as a write-in candidate for District 85 of the Illinois House of Representatives.
After completing a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Phoenix online, Anna began law school in 2013 at UIC – John Marshall Law School. She was in the part-time program until she earned her J.D. in May 2019.
With the much needed changes on the horizon, Anna seeks to level the political playing field by increasing public participation, closing corporate loopholes, and putting an end to candidates and elected officials receiving corporate contributions.
